Refining sector is one of the most important industries for national economic development in China. China possesses numerous self-owned patented technologies, which are widely applied in building a number of industrial plants, such as C4 alkene aromatization, isomerization, selective hydrogenation. In recent years, China has brought in many internationally advanced refining technologies, including liquid-phase hydrogenation and super desulfurization. More and more of these refining plants that adopt domestic technologies or imported technologies use homemade equipment.

HFEC Key Projects in Refining Sector
Dragon Aromatic (Zhangzhou) Co. 800, 000 MTPA Para-xylene Project:
The total investment of the project is RMB13.8 billion, including the main para-xylene plant, the thermal power plant and the supporting piers. Among which 5 billion is for building the PTA project, including the PTA plant, its water treatment plant, effluent treatment plant, other utility and supporting facilities. HFEC is the EPC contractor for the following packages.
