Beijing, China (June 17, 2009) - Project managers from HFEC's overseas department were invited to participate in the Indonesian Investment Promotion Forum held by the Embassy of Indonesia in Westin Hotel, Beijing, China.
During 3 hours’ forum, HFEC's representatives briefly introduced their company’s EPC performance and capability of helping foreign enterprises to finance. While Indonesia's strategic position in APEC was stressed, HFEC showed its desire to develop the Indonesian market, from crude oil refining, raw materials processing to the environmental protection. Indonesian officials acknowledged that foreign investment had played a significant role in Indonesia's economic development. Chinese overseas engineering contract highlights have increasingly brought to the Indonesian attention. Indonesian government is glad to cooperate with Chinese companies like HFEC in the modernization process of Indonesia, and the government holds a positive attitude to welcome the foreign investment. HFEC's representatives showed great interests to Indonesian officials in the projects such as coal power plant, water treatment and oil palm processing projects. At the end of the forum, both sides expressed their sincere wishes for further cooperation.
